Pastor Richard Krebs Pastor Krebs, Holy Spirit’s interim pastor, has been doing interim ministry for a long time – well over thirty years. He brings to Holy Spirit pastoral experience and theological training as well as over thirty years of work as a clinical psychologist. Married to Barbara Krebs for 45 years, they have four grown children and six grandchildren.
In addition to enjoying his grandchildren, Pastor Krebs likes to write. He’s written four books: “Alone Again”, “How To Bring Up A Good Child”, “It’s Hard To Tell You How I Feel” and “Creative Conflict”. But he doesn’t write his sermons, so you can not plan on sleeping through his sermons and then asking for a copy.
He was pleased to find that you have a preschool ministry at Holy Spirit, not only because he enjoys children – his own and other people’s – but also because he served as the interim director of the preschool at Grace Lutheran Church in Westminster when the director had to leave in the middle of the school year.
He has found the people of Holy Spirit to be friendly and hard working. May the Spirit of God’s love guide and direct all that we do in the months ahead as we prepare Holy Spirit to move into the future. |
