Parables of Jesus - Astonishing insights into eleven of Jesus' parables recorded in Luke. Learn how Jesus' audiences understood these stories. This adult study unit emphasizes the need to know something about Middle Eastern culture in order to understand Jesus' parables. A combination of text, study questions, 16 special illustrations and other media will help us understand the impact these parables had on Jesus' audiences. This class started Sunday, October 29, 2000 but new members are always welcome. Please join us in this exciting and challenging study.
Carroll Lutheran School - The new school opened on Tuesday, September 5th with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and worship service. Over 75 people attended. The school currently has 36 children enrolled, evenly distributed over three classes: Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2/3. Come by and visit us or visit the Carroll Lutheran School online to learn more about this new Christian educational opportunity. They are located at www.qis.net/~clschool.

Thought for November: God is Crazy About You!
If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning. Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen. He can live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart. What about that Christmas gift He sent you in Bethlehem...not to mention that Friday at Calvary. Face it, He's crazy about you.
